Schneider Electric has introduced the energy saving Altivar 312 drive. 

Variable speed drives for industrial machines up to 600 V. For three-phase asynchronous motors from 0.18 to 15 KW.

Compact in size, the 312 drive is designed to make industrial and commercial machines more efficient, while simplifying its integration into a single control system architecture. 

The Altivar 312 variable frequency drive offers the highest overtorque and is the only drive with a remote graphical keypad in its class. 

Open communication

The 312 drive integrates seamlessly into architectures and communicates with all control system products to optimise machine performance. 

Ultra reliable

 The new drive comes with coated cards and can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -10°C to 50°C without derating.

Easy to set up

Auto tuning, multi-loader and 50 pre-loaded application functions to manage common facility processes make set up and installation a breeze. The intuitive navigation, remote graphical keyboard and Bluetooth capability further enhance the user's ability to optimise machine control from day one.

A common platform

 The Schneider Electric SoMove software enables users to prepare, test and transfer the files for drive configuration. Configurations can be loaded using a USB/RJ45 cable or bluetooth wireless network, or without a PC, via a SD memory card using multi-loader.
